  • All sessions include hot towels, cupping, and basic facial massage. I do not charge for the time spent undressing or redressing. If you book a 60-minute session, you’ll receive a minimum of 60 minutes of hands-on massage. Please note that my sessions often run 10-15 minutes longer due to the nature of my technique and focus, so kindly keep this in mind when scheduling.

  • Cupping therapy is a style of decompressive therapy. In massage we are compressing and stretching the muscles to repattern how they articulate and improve their function. Cupping is the other side of that. The tissue is lifted to create space and flood the area with nutrients through fresh, oxygen rich blood and new lymphatic fluid. Thus helping to increase healthy circulation, increase mobility and reduce pain.

  • Katie doesn’t adhere to the “no pain, no gain” philosophy. Your massage should be entirely comfortable. While some areas may cause mild discomfort depending on your pain tolerance, pressure preferences, and ability to communicate with Katie, the goal is for you to fully enjoy the session without effort. Any discomfort should always feel like a “good pain,” and you should be able to breathe through and talk through it. After the session, it’s important to listen to your body and inform Katie if anything worsens, so adjustments can be made in future sessions to prevent recurrence. Katie’s ultimate aim is for you to leave feeling lighter, more relaxed, and rejuvenated.

  • .The client-therapist relationship is a collaborative partnership that thrives on mutual understanding and open communication. As a client, it’s important to communicate any preferences or discomforts—such as pressure, temperature, or specific areas of tension—at any point during your session. By clearly expressing your expectations and providing feedback before, during, and after the session, you help ensure the most effective and rewarding experience possible. Your comfort is a priority, so please feel empowered to speak up if something doesn’t feel right. Whether it’s adjusting pressure or technique, Katie is there to listen and adapt to your needs.
